I am so excited that my new camera finally arrived, I even forgot to mention it. I still need to figure out how to use it properly, so while I try it out I might share with you some of the results, though they might not always be fashion/ style related. maybe that can turn into a new feature on the blog. so, with the new camera in hand we decided to escape the city while staying in the city, if that makes sense. our favorite park in the city is the botanic park. it's an oasis in the middle of the city, and this time of year it looks amazing. though it was still kinda cold and clowdy, the various shades of green gave the park a light of it's own. for this occasion I decided I should revive some old pieces. the first one that came to mind was this blazer I thrifted about 5 years ago and which has been sitting in the closet for the past couple of years, because it didn't seem to go with anything anymore. I rarely have the heart to throw stuff out and it's particularly difficult for me to let go of old pieces, as old and worn out as they look. I always figure they will some day come in handy. and so they do, most of the times. I decided to give the old blazer an update and I rolled up the sleeves, then paired it with skinny jeans and a stripped shirt, and an equally old pair of converse. they're all worn out and faded but I still love them. if nature is coming back to life, why shouldn't old pieces from your wardrobe?
