It's been a while since I last put together an all black outfit. this actually used to be my uniform for a couple of years in high school. in the meantime I learned how to embrace color but still go back to my conform zone from time to time. the heart shaped sunglasses are an instant mood lifter and they never fail. I am super in love with David Bowie's new video. check it out and you will recognize some familiar faces. Andrej Pejic is my absolute favorite model. here's to androgyny in it's most beautiful form!

this is for me the perfect weekend attire: loose, relaxed and comfortable. I was really happy when this maxi skirt arrived in the mail. the color is perfect for spring, if only spring would hurry up a bit. I cannot wait to wear this batwing sweater with leggings or jean shorts when it gets warmer. but until then, this is the perfect match. I've currently got a new obsession with ear cuffs, I bought a bunch of them recently. how do you like these ones?

I've been wearing lots and lots of colors lately, so I thought it would be nice to break the habit. it was just in time that the new package full of wonderful things from nowistyle arrived. as soon as I saw the blouse and pencil skirt they screamed secretary look to me. how fun! I love doing this kind of outfit, on the verge of costume, mostly because ironically, I never wear this to the office and this is my week off. this also gave me the perfect excuse to wear red lipstick during daytime which I rarely do, and it was the only accessory I needed. Oh, and I almost forgot. I changed my hair color. Again. how do you guys like it?

she is like the wind, open and free

to be honest, it's hardly the time to be wearing such a flowy chiffon skirt. spring is not here yet but I couldn't resist picking this up at the Tiramisu alle fragole sale. the wind sure loved it and played with it and made it dance. I was wearing super thick tights underneath though, so no need to worry, mom, that I will catch a cold. I thought it would look nice with the metallic top and the colorful over sized sweater. the bag is a little bit too matchy but I just loved the bow detail on it and it is so roomy.

what can I say, it was a bright sunny day and I felt like wearing yellow. I didn't even like the color up until late last year but it has kinda grew on me since. I try to fight the tendency of wearing it with lots of black because that would just make me look like a bumblebee. but on second thought, maybe that won't be too bad. anyway, this time I wore it with my precious vintage skirt I picked up in Paris a couple of years ago. I love playing off the colors of the skirt and come up with different combinations every time.

it's friday evening and I am getting ready for a night in the town. tomorrow morning I have a new photo shoot and then I am off to the mountains for a week of snow and snowboarding. busy busy busy...so I will keep this really short. I adore my new fox printed t-shirt, and the flowers too. come spring I will probably be wearing lots and lots of florals. but until then I shall enjoy the rest of the winter and I'll see you guys in a week!

I normally wear accessories to enhance and give my outfit a little twist. they can make or break the outfit, and if it were to take Coco Chanel's advice, you should always remove one piece of accessory before you leave the house. I don't mean I always take this advice literally, but I do try to edit as much as possible. on this occasion I wanted to make the accessories the stars of the show so to speak. so I put on a neutral outfit to serve as canvas and it turns out turquoise and grey really do work well together.
