my best friend currently lives in London and was back in the country for a short while, so I packed my bags and headed over to Bucharest to hang out with her over the weekend. I took my trusted union jack printed leggings with me for the occasion and paired them with a tie dye dress for a punk inspired look. my girlfriend got me this gorgeous necklace from the Victoria and Albert Museum and it was the perfect accessory for my outfit. we hung out at the Museum of Modern Arts that afternoon, where we also took these pictures.

flowers are the music of the ground

these days it was all  about being comfortable and wearing things that make me feel good. this floral cardigan is the sweetest things ever. if I ever were in a bad mood one day I am sure I could lift it up just by wearing this. instant cheerfulness guaranteed. I mixed it up with a polka dot dress, my favorite pair of Converse and the minty bag. once again, I am wearing my favorite things all at once, just like I used to do when I was a kid.

deep roots never doubt spring will come

to think these photos were taken only a few days ago...ah, the time for sunny days seems so far away now. winter has now taken a step back and decided to linger on. but let's get back to happier thoughts. this outfit combines some old and new of my favorite trends and pieces. this shirt has been with me for so many years, it was a very cheap thrift buy and worn so many times I cannot even count. the faux leather skirt is my trick of spicing up an outfit and the gold accessories are some recent date favorites.

ginger sweet and spicy we are both

my outfit today was inspired by this pretty ginger bread house in the children's playground. my inner child becomes more active when it's nice outside. pastels are such an obvious choice for spring, but I wanted to mix things up with black and prints in order not to look like a walking piece of candy. I absolutely adore this graphic shirt and the color of the bag is just so yummy. I have to thank nowistyle for always surprising me with the most wonderful things.

spring is officially here and what better way to celebrate it than enjoying the new collections in the stores. I paid a visit to my good friends at Tiramisu alle fragole to check out their new stuff and picked out some key pieces to showcase here. one of my favorite trends this season is the polka dot print. and the bigger the polka dots the better. I was never a big fan of the peplum trend, but I love it on this top/jacket because it's more subtle. I do love a monocrome look but to break it off I added a splash of color.

I visited my parents this weekend and asked my mom if I could borrow something from her closet for my pictures. it's no secret I love flower prints, and you know spring is here if you see me wearing my flower tights. but my mom had something ever better. she has these old shawls she bought from Russia long time ago, before I was even born and they are so precious. I couldn't wait to wear one of them. so here it is, a flower overdose. happy spring!
