It's no secret I am a big cherry blossoms fan, known in the Japanese culture as sakura. My first tattoo, a back piece, was a cherry blossoms branch. For this reason, spring is the most awaited season for me. Even though my dream of going to the cherry blossom festival in Japan has not come true yet, I can still enjoy the spectacle of the blooming trees right here in my city. This alley is probably the most photographed during the spring season. As I was telling you in a previous post, there are a couple of special spots around the city and this one is my second favorite place to visit once the trees start to bloom. I think these are wax cherry trees, and they have the pretties pink blossoms. It was no easy task to take photos here as the alley is super crowded these days, but somehow we managed to snap a few shots.
I am wearing a bow knot bird embroidered kimono jacket to add just a hint of the Japanese vibe. I fell in love instantaneously when I laid my eyes on it. It seems it's still hard for me to stay away from black pieces, but this beauty was too hard to pass. I did add a bit of color, with a bright red pair of pants and bold red lips. The background is filled with such beautiful pastel colors, the pink blossoms blend in with the bright blue sky, and I think this outfit really stands out. The bow pumps are not the most comfortable choice for a stroll in the park, but if you swap them with a pair of comfy loafers you would still make a very chic appearance.
