When spring comes and the trees start to blossom I go out on my annual pilgrimage of sorts to some very special spots around the city. You will see in the next few posts where exactly these places are and why they are so fascinating. My absolute favorite thing is not necessarily a spot but a tree, a magnolia tree. When in full bloom it's absolutely spectacular and I could spend hours on end watching it. Don't care too much about the "palace" behind it, or the infamous gypsy owners, but I have to admit they have excellent landscaping tastes. Oh yeah, and that iron fence that guards the magnolia tree is quite nice as well.
I wasn't yet hit by a sudden urge to dress in pastel colors from head to toe, instead I am still attracted to everything black and I have to tell you, I am loving the contrast between my outfit and the background. I fell in love with this black culotte jumpsuit from Woman Fashion, but if you fancy a more colorful one, you have plenty of options to choose from here. This is such a versatile piece and it's super easy to dress it down for an everyday look, or dress is up for a special occasion. I went the fancy way this time and paired it with a precious pair of rhinestones chunky heel boots and a large brim hat. I had to fight the urge of stealing a magnolia flower to accessorize my look, I know it would have looked awesome. But what can I say, I am a tree hugger, I could never do harm to this magnificent being.
