The white stripe

As I am sitting down at my desk writing this, the AC blasting, I cannot imagine ever going outside in this code red hot weather. Luckily the weekend was a little bit better, the heat bearable, but still we only went out in the evening. I've been wanting to wear my new white stripe pants but the weather strongly disagreed. I picked them out with the intention of wearing them at the office. I cannot believe I am going back to work in a couple of months. My wardrobe needs an update pronto, so I am already trying to figure out what I am missing. I couldn't for the life of me figure out what to wear on top, I only knew I wanted something super light and barely there if possible. Then it hit me! I haven't done this in ages but now seemed the right time to wear a scarf as a top. I love the colors and the pattern on this one but I can't quite remember where I got it. I must have found it at a thrift store long ago. My memory is hazy, must be the heat.
