Glory of the '90s

I should have named this post "The black dress over a white t-shirt, or how to transition your summer dresses into fall", but that would have been too long. Nothing new under the sun, everybody knows that fall is all about layers, so this styling trick comes in handy when the season changes but the temperatures are still high. This trend re-emerged this spring and I think we will see lots of interpretations this fall as well. I say re-emerged because this is clearly inspired from the '90 fashion. Images from Beverly Hills 90210 or Clueless come to mind. You know, I grew up in the '90s and for some reason those years still feel to me like the recent past. It's only when I do the math that I realize the '90s were 20 something years ago! Damn, that makes me feel old! OK, but let's not get depressed now. I am actually glad to see these kind of trends reappearing because they make me feel like a kid again. Said the 30 something year old with a kid of her own. Would you try this '90 trend?
