I'm always on the lookout for a great print, and while florals are the go to print for spring, I decided to avert my attention in a whole new direction. After all, there is nothing groundbreaking about wearing florals in spring. I wanted something whimsical and abstract, cartoon-y and dreamy at the same time and I never though I would actually find a print to embody all this. Well I did, and I was over the moon excited. It's got a little bit of everything: watercolor portraits, foxes, deer and rabbits, hot air balloons, flowers and hearts. I wish I could take this print and frame it on the wall as art. I've been doing a lot of research lately on illustrations for a decor project I am working on (more on that soon) and I wanted a big art piece I could hang on the living room wall. So you can imagine my surprise when I found the print of my dreams on a dress! If you guys find a similar illustration out there on the web, please let me know.
When putting together this outfit I wanted the dress to stand out, so I paired it with earth tone colored accessories - matching knit cardigan and boots. I braided my hair in a side braid and I really love how the blonde is slowly fading out and it mostly shows my natural hair color. I am thinking of getting rid of the blonde all together, but will have to consult with my hair stylist before making any decision, because I want to avoid coloring my hair for a while. Wearing my cat eye sunglasses, because let's face it, the only thing this print was missing was a cat. Meow!
